Movie Madness and a Wet Beach

Sorry about yesterday. I never got an Internet connection yesterday and couldn’t post. A lot has gone on since then. I’ve been to the beach numerous times, seen two more movies (“Are We There Yet” and The “Day After Tomorrow”), and I’ve been to an all-you-can-eat buffet where I almost threw up :-P. We’re going to the beach for the last time before we leave tomorrow. My jaw hurts from chewing on beef jerky. Oh! Time to go! I’ll update later.

UPDATE:
The beach was cool. The tide was at its lowest yet. So we could go really far out! The only downside was the wailing, rishing wind and piercing rain. The journey down to the beach was fine, and we looked for lots of agates, but when we got back, there were winds so powerful, it caused sandstorms, and the rain drenched my coat. So much for waterproof.

When I got back I had a running nose, sand in my socks, shows, face, and pockets (I have no clue how it got in my socks and pockets), and I couldn't feel my hands. It's still a little hard to type right now. This has been perhaps the worst day we've been here.

Okay. It's time to get caught up now with the Internet. Taking time off has had an effect on me. Here's a question to think about until tomorrow (hopefully). Why does it rain so much in Oregon and not so much in other areas on the west coast? I mean, this is worse than Seattle. Go figure.
