Writers Block

Don't you hate it when you can no longer thing of anything? I am required by my Honors English teacher to type the first to paragraphs of an essay on The Odyssey. My prompt is to discuss the virtue of hospitality, or in essence those who honor or abuse the virtue. So far, I've come up with my basic outline.

  • Intro ¶
  • Body ¶ on Cyclops Inhospitality
  • Body ¶ on King Aeolus Hospitality, then Inhospitality
  • Body ¶ on Circe Inhospitality, then Hospitality
  • Possible Body ¶ on Penelope?
  • Concluding ¶

It seems so simple. But coming up with just the right lead-in for the intro is hard... What in the world should I do?

The problem is is that I am incredibly hindered here. Not able to include "I," "you," fragment sentences. He is a teacher that goes by the rules. *pull hair*

So, hopefully posting this blog will get the edge off of my acute writers block. I need some way to come up with new ideas. And fast.

Oh, did I mention that this is all due tomorrow???
