Kyle: Now a Twitter-er and Contact User!

So, I got started using Twitter, and I now have contacts. It's really strange putting things on your eyes. But they work pretty good. And as for Twitter, I need to think of things to do, so I can type them down and send them off to the world. How exciting is that?

I'm thinkin' about adding my video to this magical Gmail video here. I need to get that in by August 15th. What I need to think of is how to approach it. Should I just pass it from left to right, or do something incredibly creative?

I'll settle with creative.

Yowza!

This week my family and I went on vacation to a lake. Today's the last full day we'll be here. I have three funny stories to share with you, so sit back, grab the popcorn, and enjoy.

WRAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Yesterday while my family was enjoying a warm sunny day in our hotel room, my dad got up to get something out of the fridge, and when he closed it, the smoke alarm on the wall nearby the fridge went off. It never stopped, and sounded faint, at least quiet enough to be annoying, but not able to wake someone up. We called the maintenance guy to come down and try to get it to turn off. We were thinking that maybe someone in the other room burnt popcorn and the alarms weren't wired right. So the guy is there, trying to fix it, and I go with my mom downstairs to get ice. When we came back up, the alarm had stopped! We found that the maintenance guy found the sound was coming from the buzzer inside the box of the game we brought: Taboo. It was stored on top of the fridge and when my dad closed it, it jostled the box just enough to keep the buzzer going off constantly. We were pretty embarrassed.

Seagulls
At the park this afternoon when we were eating a meal of french fries, burgers, and a hot dog, we noticed the annoying chirps and squeals of the seagulls that were nearby. I had an idea. I took a french fry and threw it by the seagulls. Instantly, every single seagull in the park started swarming towards that one fry, fighting and flying, making even louder sounds. It was too funny.

An Unusual Sight
I was taking video in that same park this afternoon, when I stumbled upon a little toddler probably 1 or 2. He was really cute, waddling in his suit and following me. I ran over to my brother to tell him to come back closer to where our parents were. As I was walking back. I noticed that same boy by the trash can with a bare bottom, throwing his suit and diaper in the trash! I was dumbfounded. The mother of the toddler came over and carried the boy in his birthday suit over to the table for a new diaper, and she reached into the trash can to get the indecomposable suit. Later, I was walking by when the lady's eyes met mine, full of embarrassment. I had to turn away to hide my laughter.

THE END!
(For now...)

I Bit the Bullet

Hey kids! Guess what?

I got a YouTube account!

WHOOPEE!

Yeah, so I'm going to actually post videos on YouTube and see what people think of them for a change. Because no-one looks at videos on Google Video... I just hope no one hates what I post. I feel like I'm going to be hated. HATED!

Hmm... What should I post first? There's my two time-lapse videos. There's also that wonderfully-idiotic video of me and my two friends. And then there's the strange Monopoly Ad...

I'll go with the idiotic one.

A Total Mess

I'm changing my email address. I've signed up for many services, including here at Blogger, so it's going to be fairly hard getting all this rearranged. I can only access the template code for this blog on my old email address, so I think this blog will last for a year, and then I'm switching to a new blog. I hate being in the middle of a transition, so I hope to be all done with this by tomorrow. AGH! SO MUCH TO DO!

Read. Turn Page. Read More. Turn Page Again.

Reading is fun. Reading is good for your brain. Reading is a good way to relax. Reading is a great way to get caught up in your imagination. Reading is...is...

Oh, hi! I can't come to the site right now, please leave a message after the beep.

Beep.

OK, enough nonsense.

Nonsensical stuff makes me feel wobbly.

Nonsensical stuff makes me.

AGH! MY HEAD!

Ok, so I got braces a few days ago. They hurt. Really bad. It's getting hard to eat; I have to cut everything with a knife because I can't bite with my front teeth without going "AHH! OW!" My friend Alex never called, so I never went to his house to tutor him. He said maybe the first week of school, just to refresh his memory.

I need to read now. I just don't feel all that good.

Math Headache

Tomorrow I'm going to my friend Alex's house to tutor him in all that we learned last year. He was upset with his grade, and he asked me to tutor him, so I said yes and now I've been slaving away at a hot keyboard creating his diagnostic test. I finished about an hour ago, and I think it focuses on the majority of topics we've learned. I just hope that tomorrow when I come he won't be all like "Hey wanna go make a video? Let's play some Flight Simulator X! Let's play laser tag! OH WAIT LET'S TIE UP MY BROTHER!" I have to feel sorry for Christian, but Alex is usually kidding about stuff like that though. So wish me luck there.

So, right now I'm listening to some Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and typing my blog post. Mom's gone to the store to get something, my brother's upstairs playing the Wii, and I really want to get back to reading this amazing book. 500-some-pages I think. And it's the 6th one in the series I think. Anyways, I think I'll do that now.

7/7/07

Happy Lucky 7 Saturday people! I day like this deserves some decluttering, so why not declutter your digital life here?

I was at a nearby Art Walk yesterday. There were so many cool things to see! I displayed some of my work too at the senior center. There was a mariachi band at the nearby Mexican restaurant, filling the air with cultural paraphernalia.

So I'm feeling happy and lucky today. It's really an honor to live during 7/7/07, a date that only comes once every hundred years or so. I do have a cold, which made this day a little boring and...gross. I've had it for a week and it just won't go away!

OK, I'm finding it hard to get stuff to talk about. Did you hear about how this one company supposedly created "free energy?" Turns out there hasn't been a working demonstration yet. Steorn just either has to get to work or admit it's a flop. My opinion on whether tearing the laws of physics is possible or not is fairly unbiased. I want free energy to be true, but it might not, but it's possible they could have done it, but they might have not, but...see? A never-ending cycle.

Time to play Yahtzee! I'm feeling lucky!

Still Sick

I never went to sleep last night. I remember looking at the clock and seeing that it was one in the morning. Hopefully I will be better by tomorrow. This is a little slow because I'm typing from my Nintendo Wii. I might post later, but I can't guarantee that.

Sore and Blue

I don't feel so good: a cliché used by so many who aren't feeling so good. I'm one of these people at the time. this afternoon I started to develop a sore throat...and sore arms from Wii Boxing. A creepy aura is filling the house. My brother's upstairs, no one's on any instant messaging service at this time, and I really don't have anything I can do with this ache.

There was one thing I wanted to try, but now the chances are slim. I wanted to try out this Instructible on making a green screen (also called a chroma key). I have this blue sheet lying on the ground beside me, but I just don't feel like getting the camera and doing it. Maybe tomorrow; I do have the whole summer.

It's crazy! I don't feel like doing anything I wish I was doing right now, if that makes sense to you. I don't want to read, don't want to play video games, don't want to watch TV, don't want to film a chroma key experiment, and don't want to type. But I'm doing that, and might as well continue.

Let's check the latest tech news. Hmm... Engadget has recorded an HD interface walk-through of the iPhone, Kodak blew up one of it's buildings to spark the new digital print age, and there's now a feud between Google and Michael Moore with his new movie, "Sicko." Ain't this some interesting news?

I'm going to rest now. Just relax and recooperate.
